### Summary
This position is located in the **New York Regional Census Center (RCC) in New York, NY.** The duties of this position relate directly to the accomplishment of regional administrative functions associated with decennial tests and decennial operations. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and carrying out the administrative support responsibilities within the RCC.
**This is a Time Limited Appointment, initial appointment is not to exceed (NTE) 2 years.** This appointment may be extended at management's discretion.
This is a NON-BARGAINING unit position.
A probationary period may be required.
Relocation MAY be paid.
The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.

### Responsibilities
* Plan, organize, direct and manage the administrative functions of the Regional Census Center.
* Directly supervises 2-3 clerks, assigns and reviews work for procedural accuracy, answers technical personnel/payroll questions through research using federal personnel guidelines, accounting procedures and manuals, etc.
* Develop procedural instructions, draft guidance for administrative support functions, and develop spending plans and authorization, revising it as funds and workloads shift.
