Position Summary
Responsible for community outreach, assessments, clinical evaluation mental health treatment referrals and interventions.
Job Responsibilities
+ Provides comprehensive clinical assessment; short-term individual and family counseling; and crisis intervention where indicated. Provides longer-term treatment when necessary in selected cases.
+ Provides feedback to the individual and makes referrals to community based services.
+ Provides clinical diagnostic evaluation using SCID interview.
+ Attends and participates in community meetings as needed.
+ Implements therapeutic interventions and develops treatment plans, goals and objectives based on initial and ongoing assessments.
+ Develops and leads ongoing support groups and workshops for employees on special topics.
+ Master's Degree in related field
Experience with community activities or outreach.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Demonstrated proficiency in written and spoken English.
+ Strong verbal, written communications, and interpersonal skills.
+ Exceptional Communication and Influencing Skills: persuasive, credible, and polished communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
Licenses and Certifications
+ Social work licensure (LCSW)
